  • Dyersburg TN dentist and AGD member, Dr. Randy Prince has been appointed by Gov. Bill Haslam for a three year term on Tennessee Board of Dentistry. Randy is a 1978 graduate of University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
  • Former AGD President and Clarksville TN dentist, Dr. Mac Edington was recently recognized as Fellow of Tennessee Dental Association at the 2012 Annual Meeting. Congratulations Mac!
  • Dr. Donald Jones of Clarksville was awarded the prestigious Tennessee Dental Association Fellowship Award at the 2010 TDA annual meeting.

  • 2011 Sig Gruenwald Humanitarian Service Aard Recipient, Dr. Scott Self of Dyersburg, TN
  • Dr. Bob Elam earns LLSR Award
  • Dr. Walter Chitwood of Murfreesboro and 2009 recipient of the Tennessee Academy of General Dentistry’s Sig Gruenwald Humanitarian Service Award was recognizied at the 2010 Tennessee Dental Association’s annual meeting as recipient of Volunteer Service in a Foreign Country Award for service in Mexico.
  • Past recipient of the Sig Gruenwald Humanitarian Service Award Dr. Donald Reynolds of Chattanooga was recognized for his service in Honduras with the 2010 Tennessee Dental Association’s Volunteer Service in Foreign Country Award.
  • The 2010 Volunteer Service in Foreign Country Award was presented to Dr. Deborah Wallace of Dover at the Tennessee Dental Association’s annual meeting in Chattanooga this past May.
  • Dr. James Clark, III of Nolensville TN was awarded the prestigious Fellowship Award by the Tennessee Dental Association.
  • The Tennessee Dental Association recognized TNAGD member Dr. Phillip Foster of Jackson, TN for 2010 Fellowship Award.
  • Dr. Freeman Doster was recognized by the Tennessee Dental Association for Volunteer Service Award in Haiti.
  • The Tennessee Dental Association presented Dr. Larry Mullinax the Volunteer Service Award in Foreign Country for his efforts in Peru.
  • Tennessee AGD member Dr. John Petty was awarded the Volunteer Service Award in Foreign Country for his work in St. Vincent/Grenadines.
  • Tennessee Dental Association members elected Tennessee Academy member Dr. Don Lunn of Nashville as Secretary of TDA. Congratulations Don!
  • Dr. Susan Orwick-Barnes of Knoxville was elected the American Dental Association East Tennessee Alternate Delegate and will be representing us at the ADA meeting.
